I was begining to give up ever finding any evidence of my Grandfather GEORGE LANEY ever living in Froyle but through the Census pages on this site I located him. Never knew he had a brother (only knew of a sister named Kathleen) until looking at the church records and then visiting the Village for one of the reunions. What a great array of treasures of the past to see. Brought the First book Annette Booth wrote and she very kindly sent me the second book after telephoning my request.
