I can remember Mrs Savage who's home was attached to ours and her husband died in the 2nd World War, his name is on the memorial. Family friends were the Watkins and Cousins. Today myself & a brother and sister returned to the village, many many fond memories while walking round,. Would of loved to of had a glimpse inside our childhood home!
