Have Annettes' book published in 2000 - I was unaware she had written another, would like to purchase. Looked at this site today as I had found Richard HINE [HIND] on the 1851 Census living at Froyle. Low and behold I have found their family Births, Marriage & Burials - many thanks. Wonderful Site - will be back. Denis

I have just found this excellent web site. My maternal ancestors (Stevens) were travellers and I have been able to identify baptisms for members of the family at Froyle. It has been a great help and very interesting to find out more about the village where they spent time in the hop fields.

I am researching my father's family in this case the Crouchers (through his mother). This site has helped me add dozens of folks to my family tree going back to the 17th Century! Thanks very much.

  Greetings from Downunder Australia.
My Grandfather worked at the Froyle Treloar School.
His name is Frank Stevens.
He is in his late Eighties now and remembers some of the people he worked with there.
He now resides with many of our family here in Penrith NSW Australia.
He left England in the early sixties

My father was a Coombes and his ancestors originated in Froyle. The site is very interesting. If there is anybody reading this who is related to the Coombes family I would love to hear from you.

A very interesting and varied web site. I found it easy to search for possible Neale and Beagley ancestors.
