February 2009 Snow
Well Lane Lower Froyle
Monday, February 2nd, brought around ten inches of snow to Froyle
- the largest snowfall since the late 1980s.

With virtually no traffic, many people came out to enjoy the snow The main roads were kept fairly clear by local effort

The peace and quiet, apart from the sound of tobogganing children, was very noticeable

The next day even more snow fell But half an hour after the left hand photo was taken, the sun came out
