The Froyle Archive - Records

Among the many records we hold are the following

  • The Census records for Upper and Lower Froyle from 1841 to 1891
  • The Tithe records for Upper and Lower Froyle for 1847. 
  • A database of over 1200 names associated with Froyle in addition to the Census records.  We are currently adding records from the Register of Births, Marriages & Deaths to this database, which will take it to somwhere in the order of 10,000 names
  • A sale catalogue for the Froyle House Estate in November 1915. 
  • Copies of various maps going back to the 1700's, including the Tithe map of 1847. 
  • Many more documents and copies of documents connected with Froyle.
