The Froyle Players
A far cry from the performances above, this picture shows the final curtain of the 1999 performance of “Beauty & the Beast” on the stage of the Newton-Davis Hall at the Lord Mayor Treloar School in Upper Froyle. This was the 16th Pantomime to be staged by the Froyle Players - their Millennium panto was “Cinderella” in January 2000.
In 2003 they performed their last pantomime, “Babes in the Wood”. In 2005 a new Froyle Players re-started with a production of “Jack and the Beanstalk”
