Transcription of the will of John Mycelbrok 1570

Bishops Will B 1570/300,1

In the name of God Amen in the year of Our Lord God 1570 and in the 18th day August I John Mycelbrok of Froyle in the County of Southton do make this my last will and testament in manner and form following
First I commend my soul into the hands of God my creator and maker and my body to be buried in the churchyard of Froyle in perfect hope of the resurrection with Jesus Christ and God’s elect in the everlasting life  
Item I give to Bernard my son two bushels of wheat three bushels of barley Also I give unto Rose my daughter six sheep  
Item I give unto John my son two sheep one bushel of wheat and one of barley
Item I give to Bernard my sons two children each of them a ewe
Item I give unto Rose Leae a ewe      
Item I give unto the poor of this parish a bushel of wheat 
Item I give unto my daughter Alice Leae a ewe 
Item I give unto Joan Patrycke my Servant a sheep

The residue of my goods unrehearsed and my debts paid I give unto Alice my wife and Oliver my son whom I make my whole executor to see this will fulfilled
The overseers unto this my will I will to be George Smith and Henry Myselbrok and for their pains they shall have other of them 6d
