Husseys 1998
The old picture was taken in 1915 and the modern one in 1998. The angles are slightly different, the 1915 photograph was taken from Husseys Lane whereas the 1998 photograph was taken looking across the village pond as the hedge in the lane is now too high.

Apart from the foliage, there is not much visible change:-

  • A conservatory has been added at the side of Husseys.
  • Husseys is no longer a farm - it is a private residence.
  • The large barn is still there as are the oast houses behind Husseys in the old picture. They are now a private residence.
