INDENTURE dated 9th December 1754
INDENTURE dated 9th December 1754 between Thomas Woolveridge, described as a Yeoman and the property leased to him by James Hawkins for a year and a Peppercorn rent. Property originally belonging to John Chandler, then John Cayger of Froyle. Appears to have sold all the land - “except One Piddle of Land near adjoining the South premises and the free use or liberty of a way or passage in the day time for him and themselves and his & their servants horses teams carts carriages and other necessaries into and through the said orchard and gateroom unto and from the South Piddle of Land as in and by a certain Grant & Release dated 17 March 1726”
