| We didn’t know much about the new churchyard until we discovered a copy of the Monumental Inscriptions in the safe in the Vestry at St Mary’s. We also found a copy of the grid that means that, ultimately, we can identify exactly where the burials are. But, for a start, here are the Monumental Inscriptions up to 1991. (the numbers refer to the relevant entry in the Record of Burials, not the actual reference of the location of the grave) | |||
