Since 2000 the Froyle Archive has published three hardback books recording the history of the village. “Froyle, 100 years of Memories” deals with the history of Upper and Lower Froyle since before Domesday and includes memories of residents while “A Village School” is a detailed history of Froyle’s village school which closed after 118 years in 1986.
Our latest book, “Lest We Forget - “Froyle in the Great War”, published on Remembrance Sunday 2014, records the stories of those men of Froyle who gave their life for their country and tells of life in the village during that conflict.
