| What is it about Froyle? We discovered
it over thirtyfive years ago on a damp, dull, February evening while searching
for an affordable house near London, and we are still here. In the early 1970s Nora Jupe, the Headmistress of Froyle School, organised an event one evening at the school with the idea of starting a society for those interested in the history of the village. Sadly the society didn’t get any further, but from those early origins we gradually gathered together the collection of pictures, documents and recollections that has become ‘The Froyle Archive’.
